  • My journey with Cate didn’t start typical. I hobbled in with a painful back injury and tears in my eyes. How did I get here? I have never had a severe injury so I was scared and worried. Would I ever be able to walk without pain? Would I run again? Be able to keep up with my kids and do the things I loved? Prior to the injury I was doing HITT workouts 6 days a week, hiking or running, giving myself ZERO rest. I had lost weight and had been in the best “shape” of my life, but lived in constant fear. Cate met me where I was at, she modified, helped me through the healing journey. She found professionals who could help me. (Ladies with back problems seek pelvic floor specialists!!) I wanted to avoid surgery and was able to. It took a full two years to recover and during that time I learned so much about my body, nutrition, and supporting my mental health first. Now I am able to train without pain! Run, strength train and keep my energy up for my three kids. I take dedicated recovery days and do my best to be flexible with the phase of life I am in right now. Cate helped me with my mind shifts and has been there every step of the way. I would recommend Cate to anyone looking to get a trainer who is knowledgeable, caring, and fun!

  • I started training with Cate almost two years ago after a friend recommended her, and I’m forever grateful our paths crossed. After medically retiring from collegiate soccer due to knee injuries, I went from being active every day to not wanting to move at all. I was struggling with depression, binge eating, and hormonal issues from PCOS.

From our very first session, I knew I was in great hands. Cate helped me rediscover my love for movement and completely changed the way I view health and fitness. I used to have an all-or-nothing mindset, constantly pushing myself to the limit. With Cate, I’ve learned that balance is everything. Some days are high intensity, some are just a walk, and some are full rest—and all of it is valid. She’s taught me that rest isn’t earned; it’s essential.

She’s also transformed my relationship with nutrition. After years of under-eating and over-eating, I finally understand the importance of balance and consistency over perfection. Cate is compassionate and supportive while still helping me grow. She’s guided me in fueling my body properly for my busy life and focusing on whole foods—while also reminding me to give myself grace.

Cate has helped me create a realistic routine that works for my body, especially with knee injuries and PCOS. I now focus on yoga, strength training, mobility, and walking, and I feel so much better physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Because of Cate, my lifestyle is sustainable and balanced. I move because I get to, not because I have to. She’s not just a trainer—she’s an incredible, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive human.

  • I have been training with Cate for the last 6 years. In those 6 years I have trained though many different seasons of my life, getting that wedding body ready, maintaining a healthy body lifestyle, getting in the best shape possible prior to pregnancy, training through BOTH pregnancies, and building that muscle and strength back after having 2 c-sections. Training with Cate is more than just a workout, it is my source of therapy while getting my butt kicked! Cate consistently pushes me outside of my comfort zone and helps me to achieve my goals both physically and mentally. Her knowledge and experience is so inspiring and makes for a very supportive and strong training approach. Cate is my inspiration, and mentor throughout all aspects of my life. I feel so lucky to have an amazing friendship and fitness relationship with her, even if she is forcing me to do 3 minute wall sits!

  • I cannot say enough about Cate. She is not only an incredible personal trainer, but also a built in therapist. I came to her, because I wanted a program tailored to help me achieve my fitness goals while taking into consideration a few injuries. I wasn’t really seeking nutritional advice at the beginning, but it’s been an added bonus of working with her. She has helped me untangle a lot of previous diet culture thoughts that have hindered me from long term success. I never feel judged by her. I can be open and honest about what I am and have not done. She pushes me, but not so hard I don’t want to come back! I really look forward to my time with her. I see the composition of my body changing and my food mentality shifting. I have gained a personal trainer, nutritionist, therapist and friend all in one. You can’t go wrong with Cate. Investing in yourself is a no brainer.

  • Cate is my dream come true! I was very hesitant to get into personal training, but I needed to try something different. I wasn’t putting in full effort at the gym, if I even made it to the gym! I was bored of my workouts and did not feel like they were doing me any good. With Cate, I always have fun during my workout because she keeps things challenging and new. I get more done in one workout with her than I did in five workouts at the gym by myself. I’m always sore after our workouts, the good kind of sore, the sore that makes you think “Hey, my muscles are growing! That workout really worked!” I used to be an athlete, but when I was no longer on a team, I lost my muscle tone, my flexibility, my confidence. I was desperate to get back to my old self. I tried everything, but I couldn’t stick to anything because it was too easy to make excuses as to why I should skip a work out. Cate helps me keep myself accountable and gives me the motivation I need. Once I started seeing results and my body transform, I was hooked. She made it so easy and the more results I see, the more I look forward to our next workout. More than anything, though, Cate helped me achieve a confidence, a self-love, and a mental strength I never thought l’d have. This confidence has transformed my body as much as the physical fitness. Now, I hold my body with pride because I feel comfortable in my own skin. I will forever be grateful to Cate for this, I could not have done it without her.

  • Absolutely love training with Cate. For a touch of context, I've been a runner for the better part of my life and have no problem running 40 miles a week all by myself. It doesn't matter the weather or my mood, running for me is very much a part of who I am - it's a habit that comes fairly easy at this point. Working out and strength training, however, is not something I've ever enjoyed - I'd rather go for a run. However, as my fitness goals have continued to become more ambitious; run with more ease, fewer injuries, add some bulk, become more toned ... I've come to realize that in order to achieve these things I would need both accountability and an expert who could understand my goals and own the entire process of helping me achieve them. I just don't want to put a lot of thought into these things since I’m not passionate about strength training - I didn't want to have to think about how I would get there. That's where Cate comes into play. She is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness and nutrition. She looks the part, which I think is important for a fitness coach. She makes my life easier because as I told her on day one, I just wanted to show up and do whatever she said and not have to think about my progress or what I would need to do to achieve my fitness goals. I told her I would just do whatever she tells me to do, which makes for a great partnership. As a much-added bonus, I've gotten to know her extremely well. We share a lot of our personal lives, ideas, beliefs ... and in many ways are thinking partners in a free-flowing kind of way. I've never been the type of person who really enjoys strength training, although I love the end results. With that said, I do really enjoy training with Cate. She is the first trainer I have ever hired and I can see and feel the results of our training, both in my running and in my bathroom mirror :) With Cate, she has set the bar of being a great trainer extremely high, and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their overall level of fitness. Plus, you get a friend through the process.

  • I have been training with Cate for over 15 years and what I love about her method is how she focuses on the entire individual, not just one aspect. Now in my late 50’s her training has not only improved on my strength and endurance but on my balance, nutrition, and overall well being. She is about the long game and laying the foundation for the best quality of life I can attain as I move forward through the decades of my life.

MEET CATE

With over two decades of experience in strength training and nutrition coaching, I’ve worked with women across different stages of life — from early career to motherhood to midlife transitions.

Intensity is not the answer. Structure is.

My approach combines progressive strength training, holistic nutrition, recovery awareness, and real-life sustainability.

The goal isn’t short-term transformation.

It’s strength that lasts.

Most women I work with have already tried everything.

They don’t need more motivation — they need clarity, progression, and accountability that doesn’t rely on willpower.
